Canvus Cocktails issues citywide ‘Call for Artists’ to participate in the highly engaging social
media content series for the 2024 season

The Cincinnati Bengals’ 2024 season schedule has officially dropped and Canvus Cocktails is looking for new recruits to share their artistic talents to help bring it to life.

 

The Gameday Poster is a digital illustration that is created specifically for each Bengals matchup. The art, all done by local Cincinnati area artists, is released each gameday and is routinely met with enthusiasm and excitement from Who Dey Nation.

 

“The credit all goes to the local, passionate artists who bring their talents and love of the home team to each piece of original art,” said Kathryn Sattler, Head of Marketing for Canvus Cocktails. “They are teachers, super fans, digital creators, graphic designers, muralists, soccer coaches – your friends, your family, your neighbors, someone who you might run into while shopping at your local grocery store.”

 

The artists work across different styles – oil on canvas, 3-D tin collage, sketches by hand and digital illustrations. The consistent feature across all is a proud, ferocious, brave Bengal tiger.

“We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Canvus Cocktails for the Gameday Poster series,” said Cincinnati Bengals Chief Partnership Officer Lacy Ekert. “Our fans absolutely love the unique and creative artwork that local artists bring ahead of each matchup on social media, and it’s a fantastic way to showcase the incredible talent in our community while celebrating our team.”

 

For the series’ third year, the brand is looking to recruit new participants from the Greater Cincinnati area.

 

“We have been so fortunate to have such a talented group of artists work with us for the past two seasons, they truly have made this content series the success that it is,” said Sattler. “Sometimes people need a little push. So many times, we’ve heard an artist say they were encouraged by their sister, spouse, partner, friend – someone who gave them a little extra confidence to submit to become a Canvus Creator.”

 

The Call for Artists is open now through June 17th with a goal of 20 new artists to join the Canvus Creator network. Submissions will be reviewed and those selected will be invited to a briefing session with members of the Bengals social media team. Artists will have several weeks to brainstorm ideas and themes, receive feedback from the team and complete designs by Aug. 2. All designs will be kept secret until the actual gameday. All artists must be at least 21 years old and live in the Cincinnati regional area. Artists are credited and compensated for their participation.
